Pokémon Cafe Booking Service: How BookingNavi Works, Prices and Refunds
If the official Pokémon Cafe site is sold out for your dates, BookingNavi can book a released seat for you. It's an independent, unofficial service. Here's exactly how it works, what it costs and what you can expect.
Last checked against the official site: 16 October 2026

What BookingNavi does
BookingNavi watches the official Pokémon Cafe reservation system around the clock for seats that are released, for example through cancellations. When you choose one of those times, we register the reservation through the official system in your own name and phone number, then forward the official confirmation email to you unchanged.
BookingNavi is not affiliated with Pokémon Cafe, The Pokémon Company or Nintendo. The cafe itself does not charge for reservations; our fee is for the booking service only.
How it works, step by step
- 1Pick a date, time and party size on the home page. All times are Japan time.
- 2Enter the guest name in English letters, a phone number and your email.
- 3Pay by card. Your card is only authorised at checkout, not charged.
- 4Most bookings are confirmed within 30 minutes. We charge your card only once the reservation is registered in your name, and forward the official confirmation.
- 5If we can't confirm it within 24 hours (or by 21:00 Japan time the night before your visit, if that's sooner), the authorisation is cancelled automatically and you pay nothing.
Seats for each date stop being sold at 16:00 Japan time the day before.
Prices
The service fee depends on the branch and party size and is charged in US dollars. Food and drinks are not included; you pay for them at the cafe.
- Tokyo: US$20 for 1 guest, plus US$5 for each extra guest (2 guests US$25, 4 guests US$35, 6 guests US$45).
- Osaka: US$10 for 1 guest, plus US$5 for each extra guest (2 guests US$15, 4 guests US$25, 6 guests US$35).
Prices as of November 2026; the exact fee is always shown before you pay. Your card issuer may add its own exchange-rate or foreign-transaction fees.
Cancellations and changes
- Before we start registering (usually within minutes of payment), you can cancel free of charge and the authorisation is released.
- Once the reservation is confirmed, the service is complete and the fee is non-refundable.
- You can still cancel the reservation with the cafe until 22:00 Japan time the night before, either through us or yourself on the official site with your reservation ID and phone number.
- The date, time and party size can't be changed once registration has started.
Before you book
- Double-check the branch, date, time, party size and guest details. The reservation is registered exactly as entered.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe; BookingNavi doesn't store full card numbers.
- Check your spam or promotions folder if the confirmation hasn't arrived. You can also look up your reservation ID on the official site.
- At the cafe, show the official confirmation email and arrive 15 minutes early in Tokyo or 10 minutes early in Osaka.

1. Open the confirmation page

2. Enter your Reservation ID

3. Confirm the details
