1. Nature of the Service

Navi, available through bookingnavi.com, is an independent reservation booking service operated by Crabber, a business registered in Hong Kong (see section 14). Navi monitors the cafe's official online reservation system for released seats. For the time slot, branch and party size the customer selects, Navi registers a reservation through the cafe's official online reservation system in the customer's own name, and sends the confirmation to the customer.

The service fee covers the booking service only: registering the reservation, forwarding the official confirmation, and customer support. The cafe does not charge for the reservation itself. Food and drinks are not included and are paid for at the cafe. Optional merchandise pre-orders are covered in section 13.

Navi is not an official website, official booking portal, authorised reseller, franchisee, agent, partner, representative, sponsor, or affiliate of The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, any official Pokemon Cafe, any cafe operator, or any related rights holder.

All trademarks, trade names, venue names, product names, logos, characters, and brand references remain the property of their respective owners. Any descriptive reference is used only to identify the type of booking requested by the customer.

2. Guest Details and Registration in the Customer's Name

The customer must provide the guest's name in English letters and a phone number. These details are submitted to the cafe's official reservation system and registered on the reservation. The customer authorises Navi to submit them for this purpose.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate details.

Because the official system verifies each registration by email code, Navi completes the registration using a Navi booking mailbox. The official confirmation is sent to that mailbox, and Navi forwards it to the email address provided by the customer without changing its content.

Before paying, the customer must check the selected branch, date, time slot, party size, seating area, guest name, phone number, and email address. Navi is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect details entered by the customer.

3. Fees, Authorisation, and Payment

The service fee is shown before checkout and depends on the party size. All prices are presented and charged in United States Dollars (USD), unless the checkout page clearly states otherwise. The customer's card issuer or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate, foreign transaction fee, or other bank charges.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another third-party payment provider. Navi does not store full card numbers or card security codes on its own servers. The payment provider's own terms and privacy policy may also apply.

At checkout, the customer's card is authorised for the service fee and any merchandise pre-order, but not charged. Navi charges the authorised amount only after the reservation has been registered in the customer's name. If Navi cannot complete the registration within the period described in section 4, the authorisation is cancelled automatically and the customer is not charged. Depending on the card issuer, a cancelled authorisation may take several days to disappear from the customer's statement.

When a customer starts checkout, the selected time slot is held for a limited period. A hold is not a completed booking and expires automatically if the customer does not complete checkout.

4. Confirmation Time and Alternatives

Most bookings are confirmed within 30 minutes of checkout. If Navi cannot confirm the reservation within 24 hours of checkout, or by 9pm Japan time on the day before the reservation date, whichever is earlier, the authorisation is cancelled automatically and the customer is not charged. Navi notifies the customer of the outcome by email.

If the selected time slot cannot be arranged, the customer may choose another available time slot on the website. Navi does not move an order to a different time slot without the customer's agreement.

Time slots are not sold after 4pm Japan time on the day before the reservation date.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

The customer may cancel free of charge at any time before the reservation is confirmed. The authorisation is then cancelled and the customer is not charged.

Once the reservation has been registered in the customer's name and confirmed, the booking service has been fully provided and the service fee is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable.

Refunds will not be provided for weather, transport disruption, flight delay, illness, schedule change, personal reason, change of mind, lateness, no-show, failure to enter the venue, failure to check email, or failure to comply with venue instructions.

After confirmation, the customer may ask Navi to cancel the reservation with the cafe until 10pm Japan time on the day before the reservation date, or cancel it directly on the cafe's official website using the reservation ID and the registered phone number. In either case the service fee will not be refunded.

If the customer asks to change the date, time, or party size after confirmation, Navi may try to assist, but no change is guaranteed.

6. Email Delivery

After confirmation, Navi sends a confirmation email and forwards the official confirmation to the email address provided by the customer. These may include the reservation ID, branch, date, time, party size, seating area, and the registered guest name.

The customer is responsible for entering a valid email address and checking inbox, spam, junk, promotions, and filtered folders. Navi is not responsible for delays or failures caused by email provider filtering, mailbox settings, or incorrect address entry.

Support messages may be delivered through a third-party email provider. Customers should not submit payment card numbers, identity documents, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information through support messages.

7. Venue Rules and Admission

Admission, seating, service, menu availability, table allocation, time limits, minimum orders, and on-site handling are controlled by the venue. Navi cannot guarantee exact seating positions, specific menu items, merchandise stock, or any on-site experience beyond the booking service purchased.

The customer and all guests must comply with the venue's rules, arrival requirements, age rules, group size restrictions, time limits, and staff instructions.

Navi is not responsible if the venue refuses entry or service due to lateness, customer behaviour, violation of venue rules, force majeure, operational closure, or circumstances outside Navi's reasonable control. If the venue cancels a reservation for its own reasons, the venue's own policies apply.

8. Availability and System Delays

Availability shown on the website is updated regularly but is not guaranteed until the reservation is confirmed.

Navi may correct errors, reject suspicious transactions, or cancel duplicate or abusive orders. Where an order is cancelled before confirmation, the authorisation is cancelled and the customer is not charged.

Navi is not liable for temporary website downtime, network delay, payment provider delay, email delay, changes to the official reservation system, third-party service interruption, or other technical issues outside its reasonable control.

9. Customer Conduct

The customer agrees not to misuse the website, attempt to bypass checkout controls, interfere with holds, scrape availability aggressively, reverse engineer private APIs, submit fraudulent payment information or false guest details, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Navi may refuse service, cancel an order, block access, or retain records where it reasonably believes that a customer has engaged in abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, harassment, automated attacks, or conduct that may harm Navi, other customers, payment providers, or venue operators.

10. Consumer Cancellation Rights

By completing checkout, the customer expressly asks Navi to start providing the service immediately. Where consumer law gives a right to cancel a service contract within a cooling-off period (for example, in the United Kingdom or the European Union), the customer acknowledges that this right is lost once the service has been fully performed, which happens when the reservation is confirmed. Before confirmation, the customer may cancel free of charge as described in section 5.

Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer protection right that cannot be excluded under the law of the customer's country of residence.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Navi's liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the affected booking.

Navi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or expectation-based losses, including travel costs, accommodation costs, missed flights, lost opportunities, emotional distress, loss of enjoyment, or any loss arising from circumstances outside Navi's reasonable control.

12. Governing Law and Changes to These Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without affecting any mandatory rights described in section 10.

Navi may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of checkout applies to that order unless a legal or operational requirement requires otherwise.

13. Optional Merchandise Pre-orders

Where the cafe's official reservation system offers merchandise that can only be ordered together with a reservation, the customer may pre-order it at checkout, up to three items per guest. Items, prices and availability are set by the cafe and may change.

Merchandise is shown at the cafe's price in Japanese yen and charged in USD at the fixed rate shown at checkout (currently US$1 = ¥113), which includes Navi's purchasing fee. The customer's card is authorised for the merchandise together with the service fee.

Navi buys the merchandise together with the reservation. If Navi cannot buy it, for example because it is sold out or the cafe's payment step fails, the reservation may still be completed. In that case the merchandise part of the authorisation is released and the customer is charged the service fee only.

Merchandise is collected at the cafe on the reservation date, following the cafe's instructions. It cannot be added or changed after the reservation is made.

If the reservation is cancelled before the reservation date and the customer sends Navi support proof of the cancellation, such as a screenshot of the cancellation confirmation, Navi will refund the merchandise amount. The service fee is not refunded. Merchandise is not refunded for no-shows or for cancellations on or after the reservation date.

Navi is not the seller or manufacturer of the merchandise. Product quality, stock and collection are handled by the cafe.
